Introduction to rock wool core material
●Rock wool core material: Jinyu Xingpai rock wool, Hongshi brand rock wool.
●This rock wool is not the same as that rock wool: real rock wool is formed by melting basalt at temperatures above 1200 degrees and then spinning it into fibers. Its basalt content reaches over 70%. Traditional rock wool is made from steelmaking slag spun into fibers. The technical indicators of the two are vastly different, and the price also varies greatly.
●Appearance: Rock wool is flat and orderly, with uniform color; mineral wool is messy and disordered, with varying shades.
●Touch: Rock wool feels soft like cotton; mineral wool is prickly and can cause allergic reactions.
