Dong’an Building Panels Makes Its Debut at the 2024 Harbin Trade Fair

From May 16 to 21, 2024, the 32nd Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair was held in Harbin. Harbin Dongan Building Sheets Co., Ltd. participated in this year’s fair, engaging with enterprises and project partners from Russia, Northeast Asia, and other overseas markets, and showcasing its product offerings and capabilities in steel structures, building envelope systems, and cold-storage projects.

As a building‑materials company based in Harbin, Dong’an has long been involved in construction projects both domestically and internationally, with its business primarily encompassing steel structures, building envelopes, and various cold‑storage facilities. The company places equal emphasis not only on the production and supply of individual products but also on the seamless integration of diverse components within real‑world projects, as well as on managing the entire supply chain—from manufacturing and processing, through quality control, to export delivery.

Steel structure engineering is a key business area in which Dong’an has long been deeply involved. The company undertakes industrial plants, warehouses, production workshops, and other large‑span structures, supplying steel structures and related components. Depending on project requirements, the supply process may encompass structural design coordination, steel fabrication, quality control, export packaging, and logistics delivery. For overseas projects in diverse regions, factors such as local climate, construction conditions, transportation distances, and on‑site installation requirements can all impact project execution; therefore, steel‑structure supply must be closely aligned with the overall project schedule.

The building envelope system is another core business of the company. Dong’an manufactures and supplies sandwich panels and other envelope products, which can be used in industrial buildings, warehouses, commercial facilities, and a variety of other construction applications. Depending on project-specific requirements for thermal insulation, fire resistance, service environment, and panel thickness, customers can select the most appropriate product configuration. At the same time, wall and roof envelope systems must be seamlessly integrated with steel structures, door and window openings, and edge‑detail connections. For industrial buildings, the envelope system is not an isolated component; it is an integral part of the overall architectural solution.

Cold storage projects are also a key area of involvement for Dong’an. The company can undertake prefabricated cold storage facilities, cold storage panels, cold storage doors, and related enclosure systems, providing product solutions for food processing, agricultural product storage, logistics and distribution, and other temperature‑controlled applications. For small- and medium‑sized cold chain projects, prefabricated cold storage offers exceptional flexibility, allowing configurations tailored to available space and specific operational needs, and is well suited to temperature‑controlled storage facilities of varying scales.

During the Harbin International Trade Fair, the Dong’an team engaged in discussions with visiting clients on steel structures, sandwich panels, cold storage products, and specific project requirements. The two sides exchanged views on product specifications, project scale, construction conditions, supply arrangements, and potential collaboration models. Through these face-to-face exchanges, the company gained a deeper understanding of the actual needs of customers in the Russian and Northeast Asian markets for building materials, industrial facilities, and cold-chain infrastructure.

For Dong’an, participating in the Harbin International Trade Fair is not only an opportunity to showcase its corporate image and products, but also a vital chance to gain insights into regional international trade and the construction market. Leveraging the longstanding economic, trade, and logistics ties that Harbin has cultivated with Russia and the broader Northeast Asian region, the company aims to further strengthen communication with overseas contractors, traders, developers, and project owners.

Going forward, Harbin Dong’an Building Materials Co., Ltd. will continue to focus its operations on steel structures, building envelope systems, and cold storage projects, while steadily expanding into the Russian market and other overseas markets, providing tailored products and supply support for a wide range of industrial, warehousing, and cold-chain applications.
